Products purchased remotely can be returned according to O.U.G. 34/2014. The consumer has the right to notify in writing the merchant that he or she cancels the purchase without penalty and without invoking a reason, within 14 days of receipt of the product or, in case of service provision, from the conclusion of the contract. The return of the products will be at the expense of the customer, within 14 days of termination of the contract. It is recommended to use the same transport service used to receive the product. West RomTrucks will return the order value as soon as possible after receiving the returned product. The return amount and the return terms do not include shipping costs if the delivery was made by methods other than the standard offered by West RomTrucks.
Definition of a sales contract (Articles 2, 5): any contract under which the professional transfers or undertakes to transfer ownership of the goods to the consumer and the consumer pays or undertakes to pay the price thereof, including any contract having as its object both products and services.
The contract is concluded when the tax invoice is issued and not when the order is issued or the automatic confirmation of receipt is issued.
Article 12 states that the exercise of the right of withdrawal shall put an end to the obligations of the parties to the contract. The returned product must be in the same condition as it was delivered (in the original package with all accessories, intact labels and documents that accompanied it). Products that exhibit physical alterations, strokes, scratches, shocks, excessive use and / or unauthorized interventions, etc. are not accepted for return.
The provisions of OUG 34/2014 apply only to the consumer defined as any natural person or group of natural persons constituted in associations as defined in art. 2 point 2 of OG 21/1992 on consumer protection, republished, with subsequent modifications and completions.
The consumer is only responsible for diminishing the value of the products resulting from their handling, different from what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the products. Some products are marked with a seal applied by the manufacturer on the packaging. This seal is not mandatory, its presence being specific to the manufacturer. The consumer informs West RomTrucks with regard to the decision to withdraw from the contract by one of the following: a model form or an unequivocal declaration made on a durable medium (paper, mail or fax). The consumer has 14 days from receiving the products to announce withdrawal from the contract.
The obligations of West RomTrucks
Full reimbursement of the amounts received as payment, including delivery costs (except when the consumer has explicitly chosen a different type of delivery than standard delivery). Refunds will be made using the same reasonably applicable payment methods (in the case of cash payment upon delivery, repayment will be made by transfer to a bank account transmitted unequivocally by the consumer). The reimbursement obligation is fulfilled within 2 business days of receiving the products.

Return of products
You may request product return in the following cases:
The product delivered does not match the site specifications. You can request a refund for replacement or full reimbursement (if the product is no longer available).
Inoperative product in the first 48 hours (2 business days) from the reception. Product in damaged package. For products whose parcels show visible damage to courier delivery, we recommend that you refuse to receive them. For proof, the parcel can be photographed and a record can be made together with the courier company's representative stating the state of the parcel from the moment of delivery. The risk of loss or damage to your products will be fully transferred when you enter the physical possession of the product. Any subsequent complaint will not be considered. If other courier is charged by the consumer, the risk is transferred when delivering the goods to the carrier.

The return costs for the situations listed above (not when the consumer give up purchase) fall to our store.
Return requests are notified to our Customer Support Department or by presenting to West RomTrucks with the product within 48 hours of receiving the product.
Returning products at West RomTrucks can be done from Monday to Friday between 09:00 and 17:00. We recommend shipping by courier.
In all the above cases, except for defects during the warranty period, the products must be returned in the state in which they were received, in their original packaging and accompanied by all original accessories and documents. Damaging products or putting them in a state that makes it impossible to resell them leads to denial of return.
Any change in the condition of the products or the deterioration of their original packaging which makes it impossible to sell the product as a new one automatically results in the application of a return procedure subject to administrative reimbursement of the goods to the state in which they were delivered; Taxes are between 0 and 50% of the initial value of the product. The amount of the administrative fee will be communicated to the customer upon receipt of the damaged / modified products.
